Measuring Myanmar's Starting Point for the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG Baseline Indicator Report

To monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, reliable and accurate data that reflect the current situations of the country is indispensible. The “Baseline Data Report: Measuring Myanmar's Starting Point for the Sustainable Development Goals" is a crucial tool to measure the progress of SDG implementation in Myanmar. This report is a first attempt at compiling the baseline data that currently exists on Myanmar for the SDGs. It discusses and explains the available data and provides comparison to the regional and global level. Finally, a technical annex provides detailed information on data sources and methodological notes for each SDG Indicator, to provide a technical reference for consistently continuing the monitoring of these indicators over the coming years.
