FAO and the Government of Myanmar share a long history of cooperation in their respective pursuits to eradicate hunger, malnutrition and poverty through agricultural and rural development. To further streamline this cooperation, the two partners decided to undertake a joint effort to formulate a new Country Programming Framework (CPF) as the basis for mutual cooperation and partnership for the period 2012-2016.
