ဖော်ပြချက်

Public-private partnerships (PPPs) can help in addressing the concerns of infrastructure development and narrow export base to promote business climate in Cambodia. In partnership with ADB on PPPs project, Cambodia develops power transmission line that costs $ 33.5 million, of which $ 7 million is ADB loan. Whilst, the railway project costs $141.6 million. There are potential PPP projects include corridor town development project, Bavet dry port logistics facility (estimated cost of $11.6 million), Neak Loeung trade and transport complex (estimated cost $7.6 million) and Poipet dry port logistics facility (estimated cost $13.9 million). ADB will provide assistance to PPPs by reviewing the existing policies and regulations, capacity building to line ministries, scaling up PPP funds, establishing PPP unit and Risk Management unit as well as defining potential pathfinder projects.
