This Prakas aims to set the conditions for business management of precious metals and gemstones throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia. Precious metals and gemstones as jewelry are considered as a commodity that circulates in the market like any other commodity. All traders and companies engaged in the business of precious metals and gemstones as jewelry must apply for permission from the Ministry of Commerce.
