Royal Decree No. 0822/1008 on the establishment of Phnom Tamao protected wildlife park and botanical garden in order to ensure the sustainability of forest and wildlife conservation, treatment, rehabilitation and wildlife educational research and tourism service. Phnom Tamao protected wildlife park and botanical garden​ has a total area of 2,025 (two thousand twenty-five) hectares in Bati district, Takeo province.
