Results on index conditions of the prioritized sectors in 24 constituencies (province-capital city)
"The Rectangular Strategy II for Growth, Employment, Equity and Effectiveness" was adopted by the Royal Government of Cambodia for its fourth mandate. Due to its nationwide scope of the implementation and broad meaning, COMFREL perceived that it is necessary to have the strategy translated into an actionable, measurable and achievable strategy by each constituency (province-capital), whereby the voters may define index conditions of the prioritized sectors for development in their own locality and so better inform their elected parliamentarians, the cabinet, provincial and capital councils/board of governors and other related institutions. Consultation workshops were organized in the 24 provinces and capital city, with participation of the total 2.104 people (female: 35%) from diverse backgrounds and sectors including community residents, local authorities, civil servants, media, NGO staffs and political party's representatives.
