This article reports on at least three factory worker strikes at different locations in Phnom Penh and Kampong Speu on January 22, 2020. The factories with striking workers include Y&W, Centeren Apparel Co. Ltd, and Holiday Design. More than three hundred workers went on strike on the morning of January 22 to protest against the union practices at the Holiday Design Factory. They demanded that the factory pay seniority, respect workers' rights, and allow union representatives to return to work. It was reported that the factory management has not yet responded to the workers' demands.
