The Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway is the second expressway in Cambodia after the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, which was officially launched in 2022. The groundbreaking ceremony for the Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway will be presided over by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Vinthean.
