Kubota Construction Co., Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Kubota Corporation; Head Office: Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Noriyuki Arakawa; hereinafter, “Company”) announces that it has signed the contract of Project for Sewerage System Development in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia in a joint venture with METAWATER Co., Ltd. This project is a part of the ODA Grant* signed by the Japanese and Cambodian governments in November 2019. The Company will contribute for improvement of the water and hygiene environments in Cambodia, and to enhancement of the living environment for the people of that country by constructing a sewerage treatment facility using advanced Japanese infrastructure technology.
