The regional companion report comprises two parts. It first gives a ‘Global Perspective’ that is taken from the main World Social Protection Report and outlines the status of social protection systems worldwide. It then provides a regional overview that highlights key developments, challenges and priorities for social protection in the Asia and Pacific region from a lifecycle perspective.
