A web page captures the news article that police raided the restaurant and detained seven waitresses, five of whom were underage. They were released after signing a contract that they would not offer sex service. The restaurant owners were sentenced to seven years in prison each after they were found guilty of allowing their female employees to have sex with clients in exchange for a commission of between USD5 to USD10 per client. The outcome was that in September 2021, the restaurant owners appealed the sentence, denying that they allowed their waitresses, including underage girls, to have sex with clients inside their restaurant in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district. They also denied that they received a commission from these workers in exchange for allowing them to have sex with the restaurant clients.
