This scoping report is prepared by Ever Green Tech Environmental Services and Training Co., Ltd for Myanmar Pongpipat Co., Ltd., for EIA of Heinda Mine in Heinda Village, Myitta Township, Tanintharyi Region. Myanmar Pongpipat Co., Ltd. Will operate surface mining for tin in Heinda Mine. The project area is over 809.37 hectares and the total investment is USD 230 million. The main purpose of this scoping is to focus the environmental assessment on a manageable number of important questions.

Party's obligation in the implementation of the project

The company commits to comply and proceed with the alternative methods, mitigation measures and monitoring plans included in the report for the reduction of the negative environmental impacts; and to take responsibility for the environmental impacts due to non-compliance with the commitment.
Job creation summary

At full production, a total of 350 permanent people will be employed of which 350 will be sourced locally, 5 technicians from other places and 5 from Thailand (Mother Company).

Myanmar Ponpipat Co., Ltd. commits to following the environmental commitments, mitigation measures, management plans illustrated in the EIA report, the Environmental Conservation Laws 2012, the Environmental Conservation Rules 2015 stated in EIA.
