PTTEP South Asia Limited_Executive Summary of EIA Study for Exploration Drilling Campaign in Block MD-7 (Draft, 2019)

PTTEP publish this executive summary of EIA draft report (not full EIA report) on their website. The EIA is prepared for an exploration drilling campaign in offshore Block MD-7 for which PTTEP has been granted the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) by Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE). The project is located in the Gulf of Moattama and 280 kilometers northeast of Kawthoung, Myanmar. The outcomes of the EIA Study is submitted to relevant Myanmar authorities for assessment in order to inform the decision for the Project Proponent to obtain an Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC). Before this EIA report, PTTEP submitted Scoping Report and Terms of Reference to the MOGE and MONREC on 4th March 2019 and these were approved on 2nd August 2019.
