This draft Special Economic Zones Act B.E…. aims to be the law on special economic zones, promoting the national trade and investment through ASEAN transport linkage under Free Trade Agreement, trade and investment agreements, and border trades between Thailand and neighboring countries. The state will carry out the development of infrastructure and utilities, and the provision of one-stop services in the special economic areas. This includes providing incentives for entrepreneurs to attract investment, reduce the cost and burden of operators in the SEZ in order to increase the competitiveness of the country.
