Regional Experiences and Lessons on Contract Farming and Other Inclusive Agribusiness Models

This report by the Cambodia Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture (CPSA) and Grow Asia provides a review of the literature regarding experiences of contract farming and other inclusive agribusiness models in five countries of Southeast Asia and for five major commodities. It also synthesises the key lessons from large programmes which have been promoting inclusive agribusiness approaches. These lessons are applied to the Cambodian context through a review of key policies related to contract farming, and a set of recommendations are shared for promoting inclusive agribusiness approaches in policy and practice.
