A report on the Environmental Flow Assessment (EFA) project in the Huong River Basin. The project formed a major component of the effort to promote the integrated management of the Huong River Basin. The objective was to assist local water managers and users to understand the principles and practice of environmental flows, to institutionalise EFAs as a normal part of IWRM, and to build local capacity of partners to undertake such work and factor it into water resources decision-making. Following an inception workshop and planning meeting, a rapid EFA workshop was held in December 2004. This report provides findings of the assessment and workshop, and offers recommendations.
