Examination and verification of the irregularities reports of National Assembly elections 5th mandate

From 2 August to 6 August 2013, National Election Committee (NEC) received a total of 48 reports on the election irregularities from 11 capital and provinces throughout Cambodia such as Phnom Penh, Battambang, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Speu, Kandal, Kratie, Preah Vihear, Prey Veng, Pursat, Takeo and Uddor Meanchey, and five stakeholders including Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), Cambodian People's Party, FUNCINPEC, authorities and citizens. NEC acknowledged an existence of reported irregularities but it was not considered to have serious impact on a result of the election in the fifth mandate.
