Arbitral awards for the labor incident involving Roo Hsing Garment Co., Ltd.

This arbitral award is issued by the Arbitrator Council on the issue between Roo Hsing Garment Co., Ltd. (employer) and the ​Workers' representatives in resolving collective labor disputes of Roo Hsing Garment Co., Ltd. (employee). According to the award, 2 points are demanded by the employee side and are yet to be resolved including 1) workers demanded the company pay compensation to terminated workers and 2) stop discriminating against the Cambodian Alliance of Trade Unions (CATU). The outcome of the arbitral award was that the arbitrators ended the case because the disputing parties boycotted the procedures. Workers said they were not happy because the arbitrators rejected the first point.
