Sub-decree No.189 on Establishment of Phnom Tbeng Natural Heritage Site

Phnom Tbeng natural heritage site is located in Tbeng Meanchey district, Sangkum Thmei district, Rovieng district, Kulen district, and Preah Vihear city, of Preah Vihear province with a total land size of 25,269.41 hectares. The establishment of this protected areas aims to protect the area's ecosystem for the advantages of all the human generations, limit the use of the area's natural and cultural resources, protect the area's natural landscape and values, and provide for the natural services for its sustainable use through the encouragement of the local communities and the public to participate in the management, protection and conservation of the biodiversity and resources in the area.
