The proposed cluster seeks to make natural resource management more sustainable, inclusive and participatory, integrating the needs and concerns of indigenous peoples. The project stems from the lack of transparency and participatory decision-making and monitoring processes regarding natural resource management, environmental protection, and the marginalized and vulnerable position of Indigenous Peoples in such processes.
