Lao PDR national agro-biodiversity program and action plan II (2015-2025)

Lao PDR is largely an agrarian society and its agro-biodiversity resources not only support national social and economic development generally, but also underpin rural livelihoods and promote self-sufficiency and ood security. As such, agro-biodiversity is particularly important to the poor and remote marginalized groups and plays a key role in poverty reduction.
