Correcting Negative Aspects of Land Consolidation

At present, localities are stepping up land consolidation and land conversion to overcome the situation of land fragmentation, creating favorable conditions for mechanization and planning for agricultural production development. However, in the northern provinces, negative impacts have occurred, causing people to complain and prolong their petitions. The article presents the paradoxes in land consolidation and recommends that all levels and sectors should investigate, clarify and take measures seriously.
