This arbitral award is issued by the Arbitrator Council on the issue between Cambodia Airport Management Services Ltd (employer) and the Phnom Penh International Airport Independent Workers' Union, Cambodian Tourism Industry Trade Union of Siem Reap Airport (employee). According to the award, 3 points are demanded by the employee side and are yet to be resolved including 1) the employer continues with a previous collective bargaining agreement (CBA); 2) the employer deducts a $1 fee each month from workers who are not union members but benefit from the CBA; and 3) the employer provides a 13th month bonus and other benefits to workers. The outcome of the arbitral award was that Issues one and two were rejected. The Council declined to consider issue three. This was a non-binding award.
