This law determines the management and development of the waterway and port sectors of the Kingdom of Cambodia in order to maintain order, ensure the safety and security of waterway transport, as well as build, maintain, and protect relevant infrastructure and contribute to the protection of the environment, as well as provide investment opportunities, fair, equitable, and transparent competition for national and international trade, and support national economic development.
