Workers protested for about an hour from around 12:30pm. Workers said they were concerned about possible COVID-19 transmission, but had no option other than to protest, as they were desperate for salaries. The outcome was later in the day, the factory and district administration said the problem was solved, with the company agreeing to pay owed April salaries. Workers had also asked for seniority pay, but the company asked for a delay until the middle of June.
