Decree No.389 on Environmental Impact Assessment

This decree divides into 12 sessions and consists of 82 articles. It defines the principles, regulations and procedures regarding the management and monitoring of environmental impact assessment work so that such work is carried out correctly, transparently and uniformly, and aiming to prevent, reduce, correct negative effects on the environment, ensure reasonable compensation for damages, allocation of land and occupation and restore the living conditions of those affected for better, make the management and use of natural resources the most effective, guarantee the rights and benefits of the nation and the people and contribute to the implementation of the national green economic-social sustainable development plan.
