This paper provides an update and expansion on the paper “Electricity in Myanmar: The Missing Prerequisite for Development” written in May 2012. It makes use of new information on electricity, gas, pipelines and other data to focus on the Yangon region while still discussing the national supply and demand picture. Conclusions and suggested actions are presented.
