The FLEGT Asia Regional Support Programme: EU Support for Improved Forest Governance in Asia

This publication presents the progress, achievements and some examples of initiatives where the EU is working closely with partners across Asia. FLEGT Asia complemented other initiatives in the region including the EU’s SWITCH-Asia program, which promotes sustainable growth, consumption and production. Such programs support governments in Asia in their efforts to achieve the Millennium Development Goals of eradicating extreme poverty and ensuring environmental sustainability.
