River, Knowledge, Threat: Local Knowledge Based Research in Tanintharyi River Basin

The report shows the result of four years of collaborative work by indigenous Karen people from multiple forest-dependent communities in the Tanintharyi River basin. It is community-led research conducted by people born and raised in the river basin who depend on its ecosystems for their livelihood. This publication is an achievement which reveals their deep knowledge of the biodiversity in their territory.
